firehouse history

We are your Baltimore Stadium Event Headquarters.  Whether Tailgating before a Ravens Game or Catching the Orioles Action we are the place to be.   Great Food & Drinks.  Fun Atmosphere.  Large renovated bar with outside courtyard.  All proceeds go to a great cause... The Baltimore Firefighters Widows & Orphans Fund.

The Gameday Firehouse is located in the headquarters of the Baltimore Firefighters Union Hall.  This is an actual old 2 story Firehouse built in the early 1900's.  After the City of Baltimore (due to budget cuts) closed the firehouse,  the Union bought the property and turned it into our Union Headquarters.  The main purpose was to house Union offices and meeting space.  Eventually The Baltimore Ravens came to town and built the stadium across the street.  This created a golden opportunity to raise funds for the Baltimore Firefighters Widows & Orphans fund.  A group of Executive Board Members decided it would be a great idea to open up for Ravens Tailgates.  The rest is History.

Due to the overwhelming support and following of Fans, the Gameday Firehouse has grown to what it is today.  A recent 2014 renovation has completely updated the inside to make it more accommodating for Game Time.  We took great pride in maintaining the nostalgia of keeping the old firehouse theme while creating an exciting place to Tailgate before a Ravens game or come watch the Orioles on our big screen TV's.  Great Food, Drinks, Friends and Fun has made us what we are today.  We are also available for rent for private parties.
